Palisander Recorder Quartet

On the 28th of February 2020 the Palisander Quartet a group of recorder players came to Eigg primary school.

They played a lot of songs in our lunch room that they rehearsed before  they got here to show us their music. Everybody loved it especially the last one it was hard to describe because it was  unusual than other bands. They moved a round and played their instrument at the same time as they made silly noises and that made Colm  jump to his feet.

They showed us the different recorders that they had brought with them.  The biggest one was 6 foot tall and reached the ceiling of our lunch room. The smallest one just 6 inches long.  The  smallest one made the squeaky sound just like a mouse the tallest one sounded like a boat horn.
