Mums and dads came to the school to play some games with us all about money.
We played money Bingo. It was really fun because you had a sheet which had loads of different money pieces on it. Everyone had to pick up a card from the card pile – if the card matched with one of the pictures of money on the sheet, you put it down. Some of the cards had to add up. The winner was the person who matched the most cards on the sheet.
The other game was called Adding Things Up. We had cards with shopping on them. All of the shopping had a price. Like bread cost £1.25 and milk cost 85p. We had to add up all the prices on the card together to make a total. And then we got fake money and made the answer.
