Police Constable Martin visited us at Eigg primary school.

At first we talked about lots of stuff in the classroom. We told him about things on the Isle of Eigg, like the Sgurr. Then Mr. Merrick got arrested and he got put in the time out corner. At first Mr. Martin didn’t know where the key was but then he found it in his belt. He wasn’t carrying a gun for safety reasons. He was wearing a utility belt like batman, it was black. In his belt he had handcuffs and the key, a knife, a torch, he also had a stick, it is called baton.

Then all the primary children went in the police car. We managed to fit everyone in. Arlo was on the front seat.

We got to press the horn, it made lots of sound and the light came on. Normally the siren gets used when there is a crime. The buttons are on the stirring wheel, it can make the siren come on.

Mr. Martin doesn’t have a police dog.
