On day 4 we took the coach to the Science Centre. We went round all the experiments. The liquid magnet was very cool and so were the powered cars. I liked the way planets falling into a black hole was shown. P4 and upwards went into the science theatre to watch ‘Water Water Everywhere.’ There were loads of experiments including throwing liquid nitrogen and making clouds in the room. There was a baloon with hydrogen and oxygen in it. It was set alight and it exploded and made water that evaporated. So it showed how water was made. Unusual things found in the Sewers told us about a pink bike that was flushed down a toilet. We think it was put down a sewer manhole. We went to the Imax Cinema and saw’To the Arctic’ which was in 3D. We enjoyed the film and decided we needed to look after our world to stop the ice melting. P2-3 did a workshop called ‘Inner Space’
In the evening we went to Mother India for a curry. Dylan had Chicken Tikka, which was quite spicy and Clyde had a vegetable Dosa which was very nice but also spicy. We enjoyed the curry and the coach driver came with us.
