We had a Quiz Night and sausage and mash in the hall to raise money for charity and school funds.  Lots of people came and everyone loved it, especially the quiz.  The pupils were waitressing and collecting the finished quiz sheets.  We raised £300 and we sent £100 to the Ebola fund and £50 to Macmillan Cancer. The rest of the money is for our school fund.

Our Christmas fair is on the 6th of December.  We have been making cards, decorations, candle holders, tags and Catriona is making Christmas cookies, her mum is making tablet.  It is on from 12.00 to 5.00 pm and there will be other islanders there selling their own crafts and Eiggy Bread are making lunches.

The Christmas play we are doing is called Katie the Straw Girl. We have been practising for 3 weeks and are working hard learning our lines.  The lead role is Katie played by Catriona.  We are singing lots of carols and playing our recorders and whistles.
