We had a visit by children from Nidderdale High School. I think it was 15 children. They sent us an email. It said we are coming over for a school trip, would you like to join? And we said yes!

We did sports day with them. We had four teams: Eigg Mayonnaise, The Cool Guys, Sparkle and Shine, and Red Boots. Because Oran’s wellies were red and Aila’s wellies were sparkly. And Colm absolutely loves Egg Mayonnaise!

We had bits of seaweed to throw. The game was called Kelp Wanging. We found the throwing really easy.

We also did tug of war. It was a mix of children on each side. Colm’s team won.

We also did a wheelbarrow race. It was fun but it was tiring. We both were wheelbarrows and we both won.

The children brought some rock shaped sweets for us.

All the children from Nidderdale High School were super cool and kind, as they were helping Aila and Ross with the games.

It was fun and we really appreciate that they came over. And they were on bikes, which makes them all winners!
