As part of our plan to increase opportunities for Eigg primary and Isle of Eigg Heritage Trust (IEHT) to work together, the children held a pupil council at the trust office. We invited Maggie, Becca and Jen of IEHT to join us.

When we got to the pier, we went up the stairs to this big room next to the office. We got really, really, really comfy chairs.
Oran
Colm and Agnes were the secretaries and Violet and Freya were the chair people. The secretaries wrote everything down.
Violet
We were talking about our values and about the playground.
Oran
And the playground at the pier.
Violet
And then we talked about doing walks with people on Eigg. We thought of stuff we could do with the school like walks and camping.
Oran
We were also thinking of going round and visiting people because we would really like to see them.
Violet
Some people might be lonely as well. We could cook dinner for them or go to the beach with them or play board games with them.
Oran
We also want to get more stuff in the playground like monkey bars because we haven’t got any. I like dangling. There is also going to be a playground at the pier. And if we got monkey bars and the pier got them we would have two sets of monkey bars on Eigg. So first, we need to find out if the pier is going to have monkey bars and if not, we are going to have some at the school. We will have to find a lot of funding. If we get enough we will probably be able to get monkey bars.

Potato was at the meeting too and Sonny.
